General Elections
Conducted after every five years, the following elections are held:
- Presidential elections
- Parliamentary Elections
- Civic Elections
By- Elections
These are held in constituencies and civic wards that have been declared vacant because of any of the following factors:-
- Death of an elected President, MP or councilor
- Resignation from office by an elected President, MP or councilor
- Nullification by a legitimate court of law of the election of a President, MP or councilor
