Constituency Election Coordinators (CECs)

Electoral activities at the constituency level are managed by the Constituency Election Coordinators (CECs), who doubles up as the Returning Officers during elections and as Registration Officers (RO) during voter registration exercise.

To reduce any conflict of interest and enhance transparency in the management of elections at the regional and constituency level, all the RECs and CECs were posted away from their home regions and constituencies. Both groups are permanent employees of the Commission.
